SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER

CIRCA £70,000 BASE PLUS BONUS AND EXCELLENT BENEFITS

RESPONSIBILITIES

This new role of Sales Operations Manager is key to the continued success of this rapidly expanding, fast-moving and technology driven IT and Telecommunications organisation.

  • Developing strategy for the in-house and field sales teams
  • Analysing data and results and monitoring forecasts
  • Establishing robust processes to handle complex quotes, bids, and renewals
  • Negotiating and preparing major bids both in public and private sector

 

REQUIREMENTS

It is imperative that candidates already have a solid background in sales operations management within the telecoms or technology sectors and can demonstrate:

  • Having held a similar sales operations role in a fast-paced technology company
  • A deep understanding of the telecoms sector e.g. Wide area networks (WAN), local area networks (LAN), Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
  • Background of building senior level relationships with customers
  • Solid experience of major contract bid negotiations across public and private sectors
  • Tenacious with a passion for service delivery and quality customer care
  • Degree educated ideally in either Business or Marketing
  • Completion of formal sales and strategic sales training courses
