LITIGATION ASSISTANT - Personal Injury and Medical Neglience

LEAMINGTON SPA, WARWICKSHIRE
UP TO £21,000 (dependent on experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Litigation Assistant in the Medical Negligence and Personal Injury Department you will be involved with:

  • Providing full secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, in the Medical Negligence and PI department
  • Prepare legal bundles
  • Attend client meetings and take notes
  • Arrange and attend conferences
  • Advise clients as to the progress of their case
  • Maintain departmental databases

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent secretarial and administrative skills with the ability to use own initiative
  • Confident, patient, and polite communication skills: especially when dealing with distressed clients
  • Experience in personal injury (PI), clinical negligence, medical negligence or medical secretarial would be advantageous
  • The ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
  • Good IT Skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Team member with a flexible approach to ensure deadlines are met
